The Lisbon Marcha do Orgulho LGBT is a parade and political demonstration with different themes each year and takes place in June. It is followed the week after by “Arraial Lisboa Pride” a large party in the Terreiro do Paço with guest DJs and more.
The Lisbon Marcha do Orgulho LGBT is a parade and political demonstration with different themes each year. This year’s Lisbon parade kicks off from 17:00 @ Jardim do Príncipe
It’s an event organised by several Portuguese LGBT associations. Traditionally the parade has a strong political message, in an effort to shine light on issues that affect LGBT individuals in the country.
Then on the following weekend on the second Saturday, from 4 pm until 4 am, the Lisbon Pride Village (Arraial Lisboa Pride) is the site of gay bars, entertainment, and more.
The party will take place in one of the most amazing squares in Europe: Terreiro do Paço (Praça do Comércio). It’s a large plaza, located just by the river. The Pride Party will include DJs, stands, bars, lounge space and exhibitions.
